Learn French at your own pace with audiobooks in slow French, short stories, and written exercises
When I first started tutoring French in the US, I discovered that my students were intimidated by French. What they were learning at school or on their own was confusing. It was broken into too many small pieces. They didn't know how to connect them to form a sentence.
I started giving them handouts with my explanations and exercises to practice at home, and their French blossomed.
They also didn't understand the spoken language. Whatever they listened to, was too fast for their level. So I started writing short stories, accompanied by audio recordings in slow French, to help them further deepen their knowledge.
